About Me
I was born and raised in a small western Pennsylvania town, Connellsville. After 34 years of working for the federal government, I retired. My husband, Lamont and I moved from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to The Villages, Florida, a retirement community. We have two daughters and a son-in-law and they live in Florida.
I feel blessed to have had my first book published after I retired. Over the years, I feel fortunate to have received several author awards.
As an author, I conduct workshops, speak at an array of venues such as churches, schools, book clubs, serve on panels, review books, and have fun doing things such as golfing, reading, traveling, playing cards and Mah Jongg.

I'm a lifetime member of the Florida Writers Association, Writers League of the Villages, and I sponsor a small writing and critique group, The Write Corner.
